The approximate exchange rate of rubles for Cuban pesos when withdrawing cash from an ATM is 1 to 1.5, respectively, excluding transaction fees. At the moment, it is still impossible to pay with the Mir card in restaurants and shops," TASS reports with reference to commercial banks.

It is specified that in early May last year, the Minister of Tourism of Cuba, Juan Carlos Garcia Granda, said that in communication with the Russian Federation, the authorities of the island are working to facilitate the use of cards of Russian banks, in particular, to introduce the use of cards of the Mir payment system.
