Denmark cancels all anti-covid restrictions

Denmark cancels all anti-covid restrictions 03.02.2022
Nightclubs and restaurants will reopen in Denmark, and masks will only be required when visiting hospitals. Persons who have been in contact with coronavirus patients are no longer required to undergo quarantine.

According to Kommersant, the authorities made such a decision due to the high level of vaccination in the country. So, more than 60% of Danes have already received the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Danish government does not plan to return the restrictions, but does not rule out such a possibility if the need arises. “We cannot give any guarantees when it comes to biology,” Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said.

It is specified that about 40-50 thousand new cases of coronavirus are recorded daily in Denmark. This figure is less than 1% of the population of the entire country.
