Tourists going to the Dominican Republic on vacation were warned that from the beginning of 2022 the "simplified" rule on passports will lose force and the previous rule will return, according to which a tourist's passport must be valid for six months from the date of entry into the country.

Recall that in the spring of this year, in accordance with the Decree of the General Directorate of Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Dominican Republic No. DGM-04-2021 dated April 30, 2021 and Memorandum No. 0008425 dated May 26, 2021, until December 31, 2021, foreign citizens were allowed to enter the territory Dominican Republic for the purpose of tourism with a passport valid for the entire duration of their stay in the country and at the time of departure. - reports "TURPROM"
