Russia and Oman to cancel visa regime
During the visit to Sultan Haysam bin Tariq Al Saeed's Russia plans to sign 10 agreements and roadmaps, including the mutual abolition of the visa regime for citizens of both countries.
"The conclusion of new agreements and memoranda of understanding between the Sultanate of Oman and Russia is an important step in strengthening bilateral relations between the countries in various fields and opens up new prospects for cooperation in many sectors such as trade, energy, education and tourism, which contributes to improving economic growth and expanding areas of joint cooperation," RIA Novosti quoted Oman's Ambassador to Russia Mahmoud bin Salem al-Tuaih as saying.
The Ambassador also added that this year Russia and Oman celebrate the 40th anniversary of impeccable relations between the two countries. At the same time, in recent years, according to at-Tuaykh, trade and economic relations and the tourism sector have been developing noticeably.
