According to Interfax with reference to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, the shares by countries from which foreign citizens arrived were distributed as follows:

24.8% - from Turkey;
24.7% - from Russia;
13.8% - from Iran;
5.6% - from Georgia;
3.7% from Saudi Arabia;
2.8% - from the UAE;
2.7% - from Ukraine;
2.4% each from India and Pakistan;
1.7% - Kazakhstan;
1.3% - Kuwait;
1.2% from the UK;
12.9% - other countries.
If we compare the statistics on the tourist flow to Azerbaijan for January-May 2022 and 2021, the tourist flow from the Persian Gulf countries increased by 2.9 times - up to 107.9 thousand people, from the CIS countries - by 1.8 times - up to 149, 7 thousand people, from the EU member states - by 2.6 times - up to 22.6 thousand people.
